Im stupid this is for lga 1151 boards

There's an adapter for AM4 boards, but you have to buy it separately, which adds a couple bucks to the price.  If you've already got a 212 EVO, I don't see why you'd need to replace it for a Ryzen 5. If you don't already have a 212 EVO but you do have a budget, let's see what we can do.

If you're not intending to OC the 2600 to hell and back, the stock Wraith cooler is pretty solid.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

R5 2600

This CPU comes with a free cooler that performs on pair with the 212 EVO so there is no point on buying the same thing twice.

You're thinking of the Wraith. The 2600 comes with the Wraith Stealth which is significantly worse.

If you ever need help with a build, read the following before posting: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

Enough to warrant it worthy a purchase? I didn't know it, I have a 2400G, didn't know they shared it I'm quite satisfied with that cooler albeit it's an office orientated PC without maxing it out but it's miles from Intel Stock which can still bearable if needed.

I have a hard time thinking it's worth using money on a cooler instead of upping the game with a 2700 and using it's cooler instead even if you'd still have top another 10~15 dollars
