PC build for around 650$

I'm trying to build a bit of a budget gaming pc for around 650 USD and am wondering which parts to use. Any suggestions?

As the person above says, might be worth waiting until zen2 comes along for better value.

Great build, but if you can push for the 2600X, you will appreciate the clock speed. And everyone says wait till Zen 2, if you think that you will wait then just get this build without a GPU, (the Navi leaks are very aggressively priced and seem like a great deal), and just get the 2200g so you have something usable, and if you want even less the Athalon 220 GE (2c/4t) is like 60 bucks, and subbing for a Zen 2  Ryzen 3 3300X (6c/12t |3.5GHz Turbo: 4.3GHz $130 supposedly)  and RX 3060 (supposedly $130, about as powerful as RX580)

Home Base : Ryzen 5 2400G - ASROCK HDV R4.0 B450M -  Corsair Vengance Pro RGB 2x8GB @3200Mhz - Sapphire Pulse RX 5700XT - WB Black (2018) 500GB NVME SSD - 250GB WD (P.O.S.) HDD - 250GB LITEONIT SSD - Cougar MX330 ATX Tower - EVGA SuperNOVA 750 GQ 750W Gold- Razer Deathaddder Elite - Corsair K55 RGB Keyboard

This list should provide some decent upgradeability for you in the future. Here is my recommendation:

1st upgrade: Grab another 8gb stick of RAM

2nd upgrade: Pick up some more storage (1tb, ssd or hdd, it's your choice)

3rd upgrade: CPU - 2600x

Can't argue the build. OP would enjoy great performance for the price. The 2600X is currently only a $15 price increase, so a good investment currently if you can fit it in!

For the budget, this case comes with a single 120mm intake and a 120mm exhaust. That's fine, but you'll probably need to invest in a couple more intakes later on. (They are cheap. $7ish each.)

The CX 450 bronze is cheapter than the VS currently. I wouldn't downgrade and pay more.

I wouldn't go with the 8gb now and 8gb later deal. Not all RAM is the same. Even from the same manufacturers. Pairings come together because they are made and graded together. Even if they are fine, you'll also be experiencing significant frame drops until the 2nd stick arrives.

Why would you buy a 2600 with the idea that later buying a 2600X is a viable upgrade path?

It's a $15 difference, and not worth buying 2 CPUs over...
