What to upgrade i currently have a pre built system from hp

i7 4770

2tb harddrive

gtx 980

12gb of ram

corsair ax860i psu

and im currently playing on a 1080p monitor

currently  im looking at a pc that is also pre built

having the specs of 8th gen intel i7 8700 Water Cooled System, 8 GB RAM, Fast 256 GB Samsung 960 Evo NVMe m.2 SSD + 2 TB HDD, AMD RX 560 Graphics Card. 802.11ac + Bluetooth 4.1, Dual Band 2.4&5 GHz Wifi. USB 3.1 Type-C port. Windows 10

i was thinking of just switching over my psu and my gpu would it be better to just spend the money to buy a completely new system or should i just upgrade my gpu to save me the money. is buying this system a worthy upgrade and as far as use its mostly for gaming my budget is 1300

edit sorry hes selling everything for 800 but i was debating on just building my own

for 1300 thats a terrible gpu to get. the rx 560 is like an 140 dollar card. I'd say just upgrade since your gonna stay on 1080p and not streaming or anything, keep your mobo and cpu, get a little more ram, get an ssd to make it much faster, and spend the rest of your money on something much nicer like an rtx 2080 or if you want to save a bit an rtx 2070.

might as well just swap in a new motherboard, CPU, and ram

or

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

sorry edit he was selling the whole system for 800 im not sure if its worth it for me to upgrade to it from current system or to just rebuild a whole system for 1300

You could do this instead and keep the GTX980, since even the RX580 can't match up to it. Parts like your 2TB HDD, PSU can be reused.
