Mobo suggestions for i9900k

Hi guys.

 

i currently have a Asus Z720F Mobo and this doesn’t support the new cpu I’m getting the 9900k I’m looking for new mobo but willing to look at some suggestions from people if people would post some they think would be nice but preferably Asus my budget isn’t extreme but I don’t mind paying a decent amount. Suggest away cheers

for Asus there are literally 3 boards I'd even trust with a 9900k, others are going to powertrottle on a good load

 

maximus xi gene, apex and extreme

 

while gigabyte for example has boards around 200 bucks that can keep up unlike any TUF, Prime or the other maximus boards

Asus: Maximus 11 Gene and Extreme can do it. Apex is the mad+rich's choice

 

Gigabyte Aorus lineup can all do it, though Gigabyte is weak on the software side

 

MSI Ace and Godlike can do it

 

Asrock Phantom 9 and Taichi can do it.

Yeah I’ll go with that how’s a maximums 11 hero? The Apex looks nice but it’s kinda expensive

M11 Hero need active VRM cooling + priced terribly. Not my pick

Alright won’t go with that then maybe a 11 apex is what I should go with then

Both EVGA z390 boards should handle it pretty easy.

Stay away from Asus for Z390. They totally borked the VRMs on most of the normally decent boards.

 

Gigabyte are the choice of champions ATM.

Yeah I’m going with either Aorus master or Ultra not sure but the master is only £20 more

phantom 9 is the red accent version of the Taichi with extra stuff like 10gb aquantia lan. The one similar to the Extreme4 is the Phantom 6
