Hello everyone,

I own a budget Gaming Laptop from 2017.

It is the "Dell Inspiron 5577"

it has "i5 7300HQ" and "GTX 1050"

I can play most of the games on medium and low settings. I can also record my gameplays on 1080p 30FPS and 720P 60FPS Without any lagg.

So I am wondering if I can stream on youtube or Twitch With 720p Resolution using that laptop.

Note : Laptop heats up while recording, Though it doesn't effect on performance. Also I am going to change the thermal paste and buy a laptop cooler too if streaming will work. I have not tested it yet cause I don't have a high speed internet connection and I will get one if this works.

Changing thermal paste won't do anything, but if you want to rip her open and do it, go for it. Laptops get hot and while streaming you're adding another workload on top of gaming, she's working hard.

it is free to try, just download OBS, make a twitch account, link them and try streaming. Use your phone or another computer to check the quality and framerate issues.

Depending on what games you play it could work. Like Dota or LoL or Hearthstone for example. But trying to stream a fps game will probably be pretty bad.
