Discord has a built in search function. Just open the conversation and in the top right hand corner is a search box.

Yes... Just type in whatever word you want to search and it will find every instance that it is mentioned in the chat history. The other options are just for narrowing search results down to certain time periods or messages sent by certain users.

Idk it works if the messages are over a year old tho.

You can. You'd use 'before:' and bring up whatever date you want, and will show messages from before that date. You can also do 'after:' as well.
