you certainly won't be making profit on the PC you're looking at then, old quad core, last gen mid tier GPU, cheapo motherboard, cheapo ram, little storage, cheapo PSU, this is one to pass up.

Where? The fact that no CPU is given is concerning.

Umm, guess, yeah ok, Facebook marketplace, the seller mentioned you can test the system and in the name he mentioned:"Gaming PC (i5 6600, Q170, 16GB DDR4, RX 580 8GB, 120GB SSD, 500GB HDD, 550W)" But in the specifications, he said:"CPU: i[hidden information]GHz"

For $600 you can almost build a better comp than that from new, price seems too high if it's an RX 580 and a paltry little 120GB SSD, along with a basic, quad-core Intel.  That should be more like $450- 520 in my mind (assuming the CPU and PSU aren't junk, which they could be).

EBay, your local junkyard, tech recyclers, or business that just upgraded are much better ideas for doing that.

There's no meat left on the bone with that facebook ad unless you talk them down to like.. .$350-400.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
