Just had a thought (and I know this may seem odd): When you buy many Microsoft products (e.g.), it is often licenced in a way that means you can't sell it on later to somebody else second hand. So I'm wondering if there is anything similar for things like Intel or AMD CPUs that would prevent you from selling it on second hand, or mean you need some kind of licence/agreement from the manufacturer?

Some products are implied not to be sold 2nd hand, such as toilet paper, pads/STs, razors :D

Aside from that it's mostly software licenses that have this limitation, and some ink cartridges.
