I am currently using Intel 4600 graphics on my 4770k to play BF4, since I am stubborn and waiting until the new AMD cards come down in price. After a couple minutes of play time, I get an error message warning that my computer is running out of memory (apparently ram, since my SSDs are not even close to full). This has never happened before, but after a restart and re- download of BF4 it still happens. Are there any ways to fix this? Here is some relevant info that may help:

I play on low, at 720p, on a 1080p screen

I have 8gb of ram clocked at 2400mhz

I am using windows 8.1 64-bit

I only have origin open while gaming

Thanks for any and all help!

Wait, Battlefield can launch on integrated graphics?! Also it might be that you're running out of memory for the gpu (Can't think of the word off the top of my head, virtual maybe?) that's causing the crash. Solution: Stop being stubborn, the prices won't come down :P

Which Specific Error Dialog are you getting, when you get this message, hit PrintScreen on the keyboard and paste into a paint program, Crop the error msg,..save and upload.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I'm equally surprised. I hope he realizes his ram is shared between graphics and normal compute processes. He should probably get rid of that ram overclock too.

And OP, vision tek has reference 290's at 400 dollars.
