Is a RTX 2060 6gb more powerful than a Vega 56 8gb? 

I found a asus strix vega 56 8gb card for the same price of a zotac RTX 2060 amp

Doing a build for a church friend.

depends, but Vega 56 is a tiny bit better overall. There are more bad Vega 56 around though and AMD keeps on breaking stuff with software updates in an attempt to fix something else.

It's brand new in box it doesn't seem opened. Bad in which way btw?

there are a total of 3 blower style coolers. 2 for the Vega 56, 3 for the Vega 64 (actually i dont think there are more than 2). which are the stock coolers and the MSI Airboost card. 

 

the rest of them are thick dual or tripple fan cards. TL;DR get the dual or tripple fan coolers. the Sapphire Nitro+ being the best cooler.

RTX 2060 at 1080p in games will give you better frame rates. Also they run really cool and a lot more energy efficient. Vega cards great compute cards but for the prices you get more for gaming with the RTX card.

I don't think the Asus strix vega 56 8gb OC is a blower card but the shop owner won't let me open the box unless I buy it.

Are Vega cards good for gaming? 

The Vega cards are a good gaming card, just the RTX 2060 out performs it in most games at 1080p.

 

Also Asus Strix is a triple fan card, probably one of the best air coolers you can get on a card.

its not. the Strix is a tripplefan card. it has decent cooling, but not amazing.

Vega 56 with Samsung HBM2 > RTX 2060 > Vega 56 without Samsung HBM2.

Strix might have Samsung memory, but it is not guaranteed.
