Hey all. So with the new Game of Thrones season coming out I was thinking about how to watch the new season without pirating any more. I read here https://medium.com/@rudi.mander365/how-to-watch-game-of-thrones-season-8-in-the-uk-3-ways-to-watch-it-online-dbbfb0398772 that I could try out a VPN but first I'd like to hear if anyone else tried it like that. And also is it true that a vpn can unblock netflix?

netflix blocks certain vpn's (usually thhe free ones). nordvpn works thou (its a paid vpn) i use it all the time to catch shows people in the uk and such have that we dont have here (usa)...but looks like GoT is pretty limited on what services and such play it

Yeah I guess free software is never as good as something paid. i'll think about it, there's still a few days to decide after all

Just an FYI, UK Netflix (nor US nor Canadian) will carry Season 8 on launch.

 

You need to subscribe to HBO Go (if available in your country) to watch online. Or you need to subscribe to a proper cable TV subscription.
