Just want to share this codec because it's awesome, and here's why. I use Dxtory to record any gameplay. I recorded a little 30 second or so clip using the standard Dxtory settings (except I had the quality on high quality instead instead of RGB and I had compression on). The video came out to be 1.71GB. I recorded that same 30 second clip in Dxtory while using this lossless video codec (with RGB on, and multithreading on) and that same video came out to be 326MB. Want to know the best part? There was no loss of video quality.

So if you're going to be recording anything, use this video codec.

The x264 codec is pretty popular as well, takes more tweaking to find good results.

Using DXtory, people either use x264 or Lagorith.

Maybe a kindhearted individual can do a comparison of IQ & FPS loss with Lagorith VS x264???

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz
