Will this motherboard be good enough?

Building a pc for my friend and if I cheap out on the motherboard, he can have 16gb ram, however, im worried this motherboard won't be good enough. Can someone tell me if things will be fine in this build:

edit: His budget is £600 max so I can't afford to get a better motherboard

Do you have a cooler already? The 1600X doesn't come with one

Drop the RAM to 8GB for now (2x4GB) and toss in another kit down the line?
