I'm looking for a decent smartwatch for android that's cheap enough that I could ask for it for a birthday. I do not care at all for any sports, health, or fitness features. The problem is that I don't know what to look for in a smartwatch or anything so... any recommendations?

Thanks!

Have a gear S2 classic and it's great. You can find open box ones for <90 USD

I own a Moto 360 2nd generation. It's running Android Wear 2.0.

The Moto 360 2nd generation is more like a casual-formal looking watch with a minimal understated design.

You can probably find one for under $150 at this point given its age.

I had a Moto 360 2nd Gen, and I'll back up @seoz 's recommendation on that. Not super fast especially given what you can get now but it doesn't have to be - it's a fucking smart watch. Too bad it got stolen :(
