Really Odd problems

So. I can download game updates. I can use internet explorer with no problem. I however, CANNOT use google chrome. Ive tried a whole bunch of stuff. But when I re-download google chrome, it works fine. but as soon as I sign in with my gmail, everything stops working. I get the little (I) to the left of the URL, and nothing I do can fix it. Anyone help, please.

And on top of that, my computer freezes every so often for a few seconds. Completely freezes. in games or not. and then I have to reboot my pc. 

Everything was working a few days ago just fine. And now all these problems.

check your browser's proxy settings.

Check chrome's network and proxy settings,
Uninstall Chtome
Download and install Edge Chrome -
Profit.
