Hi,

Isn't it possible to choose which GPU to use, if they're both dedicated cards? Only with intergrated GPU's? :(

Can you FORCE it somehow?

For display/gaming? just plug into that card

For productivity/acceleration? Depends on the app.

A cludgy solution that works for anything? Enable/disable cards in device manager.

Ppl who've worked with win10 more might be able to help with power saving vs performance stuff more than I

It looks like this is just limited to integrated graphics for the windows tool, but since you have AMD and Nvidia, you can force each of different cards to utilize programs through their respective applications. Look at this guide and see if it helps you out. I don't have any personal experience with this, but good luck if it works!

WINDOWS HAS NOT DETECTED A KEYBOARD

PLEASE PRESS 'F1' TO CONTINUE OR 'F2' TO ABORT.

Sorry, this didn't help at all :( It's basically the same as what windows does, just predated.

Seems like I just have to switch cables so far.

just to elaborate here, there is no support I'm aware of for display pass-through from one PCIe GPU to another PCIe GPU.

So if you are plugged in to GPU A, but want to use GPU B to drive the display and not change cables, there's nothing I know of to help you there.
