Hi guys, so I was browsing indiegogo and kickstarter for cool and neat gadgets and saw GameBuddy.

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1158340011/gamebuddy-play-any-game-on-any-screen-anywhere?ref=discovery

It is a small little device that "lets you play PC, console & smartphone games remotely thru (how could they spell it that way? A shame.) Wi-Fi or Ethernet on any screen (TV, PC, Tablet) with no delay." all for $69 (includes actual device and Pixel app (dunno how).

Windows android and IOS compatible

They say that there is no lag gameplay although they do mention 60ms-30ms or 0.06-0.03 second lag.

You are allowed to stream any game, and they compare it to Nvidia Gamestream, where Gamestream only allows streaming of steam games.

Thoughts on this? Not in any way trying to promote this or advertise as this or indirectly breaking the code of conduct, just looks very interesting anyways to see if this is worth $69, so please don't bash me

Selling my parts of my 900D rig for a jacked up Ncase M1. PM me for offers if interested (will take some reasonable-low offers because I'm desperate).

It's not going to be lag free, and the devices on both ends would have to be able to do h.264 encoding fast and on the fly. I have a SHIELD running on a single band WiFi N network which gets consistent speeds of 60 down, 40 up and even my SHIELD lags a little, most noticeably in Battlefield 4 64-player multiplayer. Most people don't have dual band on their mobile devices and on their routers, and most people don't have speeds which are exactly amazing. I don't see this being extremely successful. I see it more of as being a toy.

Highly doubt it.  I have a 12/1 mb/s down up internet speed.  I can only just stream youtube to my XBMC running off dual band, so I highly doubt this will work for a lot of people

Could be cool. Sidenote, GameStream does not only work for Steam games (Origin games on PC work too).

Oh, that was paraphrased from the product description..

So general consensus is that it's pretty much impossible to have as little lag as what they promote, I see.

So thanks everyone who commented.

P.s. I did not intend to buy this, was just interested.
