My wife's Sims playing monster

In November I built a new rig for myself and I had a ton of stuff laying around so I gave some of it away and decided to build my wife a PC out of the rest because she loves the Sims and Sim city and a couple other games...

Case: thermaltake urban s21

Processor: amd phenom 2 x4 955be @4.2ghz

Mobo: gigabyte ga 990fxa ud3

Ram: 8gb corsair xms3

Video: 2x 6770 in crossfire

Storage: 3 1tb drives and a 64gb ocz sad

PSU: ultra 550w

I love it. I too haev made frankenstein pc's with spare parts. Although this is actually a pretty nice pc! my last frankenstein was a p4 with a 5770 :P because why not

I doubt she'll ever use those 6770s to their potential playing Sims or left for dead

I have to get a new heatsink for it though..I dunno if you can tell but that v8 is too big for the case and is actually pushing out on the side panel lol

@cnapier39428, what version of sims does your wife have, The Sims, The Sims 2 or The Sims 3?

BTW, with that kind of PC your wife could have The Sims quality settings on max :D.

Great PC imo, don't know what twin 6770's would do lol

For what she plays lol...I mean I wouldn't have any use for it on my 1440 monitor probably.. She plays on a 1680x1050 lol

Oh...okay. 1680 x 1050 monitor is better than a 1440 x 900 monitor. Be a gentlemen and give her your 2560 x 1440 res monitor......for a week. :P

@cnapier39428, what are the specs of your monster gaming PC? You should put them under your profile, there's a section for them in your profile settings.
