so i installed a gt710 in my system to act as a adpter since i cannot find a Display port to vga or dvi to vga andd wen i validated my system for CPUZ this showed up

why is it my gt710 is clocked faster than my gtx 1060

before you say anything y did i spend money on a gt710 i had it laying around collecting dust in a system that my parent's don't use anymore and just pulled it out

GPU 2 isn't being used/stressed so clock speeds are very low.

why would you do that? to lower the power draw?

just to keep my gtx 1060 live longer it has an idle temp of 44 while my "ambiently cooled" gt710 has 33 (i modded it so it no has a fan but it's very janky)

if you want to lower idle temp, well you should customize the fan curve on msi AB

my gtx 1060 idling at 35-37c zero rpm while browsing

but naaah, your temp just doin fine

Idle-temps are irrelevant, especially if they're anything lower than 60 degrees. Such a low temperature does not affect your 1060's lifespan.
