Posted March 29, 2019 I purchased a Q9650 on ebay and installed it into my GA-EP45-UD3L V1 motherboard. I updated my BIOS to F9. My motherboard supports this CPU. My computer will not boot into BIOS. Is the CPU bad? How will I know definitively? I have also tried removing the CMOS battery. Have I overlooked something? I know about thermal paste and cooler fan. I put back my Q6600 cpu and my system boots fine. Any idea before I initiate a return on the CPU?
