Destiny 2 Bad FPS

Deuxez

Ive started playing destiny 2 lately, but there is something i dont like about it. I have bad fps even tho my pc should be able to run it smootlhy. SYSTEM:

ryzen 3 2200g (stock)

8gb ddr4 (stock)

Asrock a320m-hdv r3.0

XFX rx480 RS 4gb (stock)

CX500M

Now it should be able to play it on high settings smoothly, but when i play the only settings i can play on is Low. And even low settings i get fps-drops from like 60 to 30 in some areas. Im wondering if the game isnt well opimized or is it something else. Is it fixable? maybe some tweaking in the settings file or maybe something else.

it still should be able to run it at atleast medium settings 60fps. maybe not highest but.. still. i mean if it were able to keep an solid 60fps on low i could play it on low settings. As long as i got solid fps, but it dont. I get framedrops and runs it super shit in some areas

that shouldn't happen, are you sure you're not running the game on your iGPU?

Yes im sure. And i searched some on google and found out some people with like i7 and 1080ti have been having extreme fps problems in destiny 2. And they actually managed to fix the problem. It was something about battle.net still being open in the background after launching which gave them the bad fps. Now i set the battle.net launcher to close completly after ive launched a game. So i launched Destiny 2, battle.net closed, i cranked the settings from low to high and boom. no fps problem in sight.

Seems like the battle.net app is taking a lot of power from ur pc while running in the background. Weird but its fixed at least.

the fps went from Super bad at low settings to for real ROCK solid 60fps high settings. Like battle.net app is literlly broken. While playing on low i got like 30-60fps constant up and down. now with battle.net closed, i can run it at high settings and i NEVER saw the fps go under 60fps, even in big areas and while throwing grenades, Incredible how bad companies can be sometimes with their launchers and shit.

Frame drops aren't your fault.  The game is known for this, Bungie has yet to fix this or the mem leak issue.

Well i dont think its the games fault, more like its the battle.net fault. If u have that open while playing u get massive fps drops and shit. If u close that tho, hmmm so good with solid 60fps

Oooohh. i could even crank the settings from high/medium to highest with solid 60fps (anti-aliasing turned off). Seem like that battle.net is broken as fuck
