exsi EXSI WMware on Linodes servers

Hi. Do someone knows if I can upload my own iso file from my local machine to a Linode server https://www.linode.com/. 

It's VMware ESXi 6.7. can I let Linode server run that iso?

I am unfamiliar with linode, but anytime you want to run a specific operating system in the cloud you need a VPC, which linode does not appeart to offer. It is shared hosting (probably containers) from what I can tell - likely why it is only linux.

 

You definitely do not want to run ESXi on any cloud provider, it defeats the purpose. Some larger companies like AWS will setup some hardware with ESXi and give you access to the web portals.

 

You may instead want to look at colocation and mailing a physical server to them. Or sometimes the datacenters already have older equipment they will rent cheaply, such as:
