Need Help! Wireless Audio Solution

Hello!

I'm trying to get audio moved from a Windows 10 PC to a speaker system about 20m away through a number of walls and offices. SO I figure this discounts any bluetooth solutions. I've been looking for a wifi solution however everything I find on amazon seems to phone home to China or otherwise expose my network.

All I'm looking to do is pump some Pandora or Spotify through a PA system inside a mid-sized office. Anyone have any ideas???

Do you need to use the PC as the source? Could you just plug an old phone in and play Pandora/Spotify/etc. from that?

If you do need to use the PC as the source, you can stream over wifi using a old phone at the other end with the SoundWire app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.georgie.SoundWireFree)

pretty sure pandora and spotify are compatible with alexa you could try those as they would serve as a wifi solution.

You can log directly into a spotify account through the Alexa app, and then the log in is saved for connected echo units. Definitely a relatively safe way to pipe spotify to a set of speakers.

The PC does need to be the point of origin which is whats making shopping for a solution difficult.

The amazon echo idea works for that, you can use spotify's desktop app to select the echo as the output device, then control it from the PC
