GTX 1070 SLI will give you these results quite often, still lagging behind a single GTX 1080, it's better to try selling your GTX 1070 and grabbing a second hand GTX 1080 Ti if you want more performance.

Poor example right there. They are close in some games comparing a single card. I know two of my 1080s destroyed my 1080ti in every game I play and the cpu can keep up with. Pubg was only close because of the default profile was garbage. 

 

Guaranteed two 1070’s would do the same to a card like the 1080 in any decent game.
