Bitdefender is a virus?

I used Virustotal.com to scan my bitdefender installation file and it turned up with 2 positives, one of which was a trojan. I downloaded the bitdefender free version but it was from their website (I typed in the URL myself).

No its not a virus. LTT would not have ran a sponsored campaign with them if it was a scam. I personally use Bitdefender and have zero issues with it.

It's just a false positive

Considering that the two detections are what I would refer to as no name programs, the detections should be considered to be false.
