does anyone here actually own a pre built pc that's NOT from hp, dell,etc.

like for example ncix, origin,

PC specs.3570k, asus p8z77m pro, 8gb corsair vengence 1600MHz, XFX 550w, seagate barracuda 1TB, MSI 660ti, cooler master k350, cooler master hyper tx3 evo.

I think those systems are just for Gamers and not hardware enthusiasts. and you mostly find hardware enthusiasts here, who built their rig by themself.

You won't really find many prebuilts on this system dude ;) We are entusiasts of hardware :)

I'd never consider buying something prebuild except for aios nuc systems or laptops... everything I can build myself, I WILL build myself

why? when you can build it yourself. they aren't adding anything unique, only on that high end model, that front plate "/

We got NCIX to build my brothers PC, but since we picked out all the parts it's still a custom computer, someone else just put it together for us.

well a perk is that you know it will work and if its broken its not your own fault, but I built mine myself and trust me its worth it :D

There are a few companies I would trust with a pre-built system, usually they are more expensive, so I stick to building my own.

If you want one, Origin PC is the best imo.

I saw a cosmos 2 build in a magazine a while back, and it was at 3k (it had sli Titans lol), I thought that looked good, added up the price of each component via pcpartpicker and it came to well over 3k, closer to 4. . . so sometimes pre-built isn't so bad.

The Bolt 2, specifically. You cannot buy a case that size with all the easy to remove parts, layout and cable management options. For a mid tower and larger yeah I would, and have built my own, but at the SFF a prebuilt is way easier. The Bolt has a custom PSU with short, sleeved cables. Exact spacing for the parts. It is also much more difficult for someone like me with no good workspace,(being in college) and not having a ton of time to work on the case.
