maybe a ryzen 3 without the igpu would be better?

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

If he has a Microcenter near him in NY, he can throw in the 1600 instead.  It's cheaper than that 2200g.

 

Also, maybe a Ryzen 5 2400g and lose the GPU if being under $400 is important, as asked.

Unfortunately the closest micro Center is like 3 hours away, so that probably won’t work. You guys have given me plenty of ideas though! Thanks so much!

Micro Center is god though, so do drive the 3 hours anyway who the fuck cares
