1660 launch

This is kinda what gets me too. Like, didn't both Nvidia and AMD recently say they're still having issues selling surplus stock from Bitcoin fading back into obscurity?

Surely GPU demand couldn't still be this high.

My main issue is with them launching so many cards so spread apart, why couldn't the the 2060, 1660 and 1660Ti be launched at the same time? Oh yeah, because then they'll only be in the news once, not three times!

However, all this has done is make me less interested. The only launch video for the 1660 that I watched was Bitwit's, and only because Wifeysauce hosted it and not because of the card

Bitwit Wifeysauce's review is the only one worth watching because lets face it, this card is mostly pointless other than to check off a box.

Linus used "1660" as shorthand for the 1660 ti in his last video, how confusing.

Also, it's slightly more performance than a 580 for slightly more money, so just get a 580. What is the point of this.

Well probably to replace the RX590, with RX 580s at 180$ and less they are not competing anymore in the same price range.

It's just that if you're spending more money for more performance, the difference between the 580 and the 1660 really isn't so great, getting the 1660 ti is more worth it at that point.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Yeah agree with you 100% the RX580 is way better than the 1660 for one reason it comes with 2 games
