Hey, I am in College and everytime I turn on my PC internet doesn't work. I have 2 options, either I restart ethernet adapter or open this program I had to use the first time I connected my PC to the network to authorize it. I don't even have to do anything in the aplication (It asks for my account info) but in the instant the internet works. I asked the network administrator and he said I am not alone but he doesn't know what's the issue. So I was thinking I could look in some sort of log of what happens but I don't know where to look. Any advise? Thanks

I tried: Reinstall, drivers reinstall (old, new), swap cables with my roommate (He doesn't have this issue)

What programm would that be exactly?

Remote diagnosis with this little information is kinda difficult...

That being said, you're probably best off leaving this stuff to the network admin, he probably already tried all the steps we'll recommend you should take (if he's worth his pay that is)

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

It is a Eduroam configuration Assistant tool

Eduroam is worldwide service for Education purposses (Schools, Students, etc.)

Like I said, he doesn't know the issue and I doubt this will be resolved anytime soon. So I would like to dig deeper myself.

You still probably won't have the permissions to view the neccessary logs or make any meaningful configuration changes.

For now it's probably best to live with the workaround...

You could check the windows event logs and try to find anything useful there, but I wouldn't get my hopes up really...
