Hey guys what's up? I've been thinking about getting/making an electric skate/long board as a way to get around town when I go to uni... Anyone got one already and can give me some pointers? Also whats a good bag to keep a skateboard and tech in?

Thanks

Rossyboy

Ive seen some electric boards on kickstarter and else where and they are super expensive. youd be better off giving yourself a little push every now and then.

You can buy them for £80 on Amazon.

Presuming you really want to build one, however, I'd simply buy a bunch of lantern batteries, a semi-powerful motor and then you're done.

PS: connect the batteries like this

Cheers mate!

I've actually been thinking about modding a mountain board like that so that the motor also charges the batteries on the way down... Then I can just motor myself back up again. Sounds awesome!
