4GB of ram is its own issue, that's quite small. Also, you have to make sure you have the same graphics settings as the online benchmarks, or else you'll get different results.

Also, what's with the Emojis?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

What does he mean by FPS drop.  Every game does that.  Can you tell us numbers on what FPS you get then the sudden drop FPS and what not ?  Also does this happen in every game ?

You'll want to make sure you're using the newest driver from NVIDIA for your GTX 1050 Ti and that your Windows 10 power plan is set to "High Performance".  Otherwise unless you have a bunch of background programs/bloatware running may want to check that an overactive antivirus isn't getting involved (could try turning it off or making sure it isn't scanning or updating while trying to play).

Fasauseome is right that 4GB of ram is lean and the game recommends having 8GB instead.

Be advised that while your GPU is good enough for 1080p gaming (may not be 60+ fps constant however), that CPU is underpowered and doesn't measure up to the recommended CPU for GTA 5.  It is just a notch above the minimum CPUs listed and for a game GTA 5's age, that's not good.

The 4GB of ram will cause stutters which will reduce your FPS.  You have a bottleneck with the RAM and Im guessing you don't have a SSD either.  So you already dug a hole for yourself.  With your CPU and GPU you should see 60fps but you will have drops.  What kind of drops are you getting ?  Give us some numbers or estimates.

Example in gta 5 I have 60 fps ultra and sometimes it drops to 20 30 40 to 60

Does the FPS drop in the same in game scenerio.  For example if you stand at a certain point in the map, your FPS is 60fps then it goes down to 20fps ?  Or does it dip when theres lots of stuff happening on a screen.  In GTA 5 in a small room  youll get your 60fps but once theres action and larger map it will dip.  20fps is absurdly low.  Also have you touched the nVidia panel ?  Make sure vsync is off or set to application.  One thing we can try for the hell of it is to boot into safe mode and run DDU "Display Driver Uninstaller" choose clean and reboot then you will be booted back into normal mode.  Now go ahead and install the latest WHQL drivers and let us know.

You should NEVER run two antivirus programs, that's how you create gridlock on your computer.  Do yourself a favor and consider common-sense and good judgement your 1st antivirus, and let your installed antivirus be the 2nd line of defence.  It doesn't make you safer to let your CPU get bogged down while two AV's fight it out for control of your resources.

I have shi*T load of stuff in my tray ,, 20 of them.  but all my malware apps and windows defender real time protection is turned off.  Even on SSD if you have real time protection everything you launch will have a delay as it first checks for viruses.  Instead what I do is when I download something I right click the file and scan it with defender with malware apps ,, then I launch it.

That is what I needed to know.  You have no issues.  Your CPU is holding back the GPU, and your GPU is holding back itself!  The only thing I can suggest is try running the game at 1400x900 resolution and see if that 20fps will turn into 40fps, and the 40fps will be 60fps.

First. your biggest problem is that 4gbs of ram. Your system will easily eat through 1.5-2gbs of it, leaving only 2gbs roughly for your games, when most games will readily use more than 4-6gbs of ram. Upgrade to 8gbs of ram ASAP.

Second, Your cpu is quite old, and not nearly enough to run games on even high settings let alone ultra. It will struggle in modern games regardless of settings.

Thirdly, the 1050ti is great performance for the dollar, but doesnt mean its just flat great performance. Medium settings in most games will get you by so long as its not being throttled by the cpu and ram. Resolve the major ram issue and the cpu will be able to run a lot better. However rather soon you're going to run into issues with the cpu, and get a lot of fps drops and slowdowns because of it, even if you had unlimited gpu and ram performance.

Yeah we know your FPS is bad, that's why he suggested you try to reduce the burden (by running the game on a lower detail resolution) on your already very underpowered PC.  If you aren't willing to lower the settings than newer hardware is the answer to getting GTA 5 playable.
