Windows install USB BSOD

Hi
I got an issue that I'm running out of ideas on how to fix. Before I describe the problem I'll just list what components are in the system.
New items:
Motherboard:Asrock b450 pro4
Ram: G.Skill Value Series - DDR4 - 8 GB - DIMM 288-PIN
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
SSD: WD Blue 3D NAND SATA SSD WDS500G2B0B
Old Items
HDD: Various old Sata HDD's
GFX Card: Gigabyte GTX 670

The issue is that we cannot install windows 10 on the system. Every single time we try the computer gives us a Bsod before we even get to the first interactive screen of the USB Installation.

I've tried a lot of things now so I'm going to list them here so people are aware of where in the process I am.
First I tried a old bootable Windows 10 USB I had created a few years ago for my own computer. it wouldn't even show the windows loading screen.
Then I tried to recreate it using the Windows tool for creating windows 10 usb. at first it wouldn't even show the windows loading screen either.
but then I got to change a few bios settings and suddenly it seemed to trigger that the windows loading screen comes up but now after 5-10 mins it gives a bsod.
I then tried to recreate the USB again using the latest Rufus tool together with a windows ISO.
Followed a few different ways to create the USB with the same result as above I keep getting that BSOD.
Foolish as I am I thought oh well I'll just install windows on my computer and move the SSD to his computer the result was Exactly the same a BSOD during the loading of Windows.

I'm at my wits end. What can I do to figure out what is wrong ?
I think it should be noted that the USB is a old USB 2.0 Pen which seems to work fine on my own computer just not on his computer.

Do you have them connected? If so, try removing them and only leaving the SSD and see if that helps.

Yes they are connected. Make a try without them now. And it seems to at least get me to be able to install now but I will wait with getting my hopes up until it is done

Alternatively, pull out the drive from the system, slap it into another system (as a stand-alone device) install windows on it, then yank the drive out, put it back in the new system, and see what happens.

Well the installation is now finally done I do not understand why but pulling the plug out on all other drives in the mashine helped. Thanks for that strange but very helpful suggestion.

sometimes, even if you tell Windows to install to the SSD, it will try to install some system files on another drive. 

then, when it goes to boot, its like uh where are my system files?

or it could be one of those drives had a boot sector on them making Windows think it needs to boot from that drive that had nothing on it.
