Smart plug / power meter

I just bought smart plug, that can pair with SmartLife app, and I only want to monitor my power usage from the socket, and nothing else.

Sadly that SmartLife (ironically) isn't that smart at all. I can't disable button for on/off, and it happened few times already that I pressed this button, causing my PC, TV, monitor, router, modem to get powered off.

Does anyone have some recommendation for some smart plug that will only monitor my power draw from the socket, without on/off option?

Put hot glue on the switch so you can't accidentally hit it?
