Will it be enough

will the b450 be enough for heavy gaming and slight overclocking? Streaming and recording as well. Also I’m probably going to get a 2070 down the line so imagine that there

and will it support the 3200 speed?

thats a mid range b450. should be ok for light oc. but for anything like 4.3 all core, i would suggest better mobo.

I wouldn't suggest buying a new 1070, Pascal is out of stock and out of production. The RTX 2060 is a better choice at that price, this MSI seems fine. If you want a 1070, buy one used for like $200~.

Corsair also seems to have replaced that power supply with a newer version as the older is now out of stock.

I also wouldn't stick a 2700X onto a B450 micro atx board, I'd try to find a standard ATX, nicer motherboard, even more so since that case places the hardware front and center.

As others have said, highly recommend you don't skimp on a cheaper motherboard, get a nicer quality one & you'll thank yourself later.  Not familiar enough with AMD's modern stuff to suggest a specific one myself.

Other than that, should be good for what you want it to do.

Why buy this used when you can get a new 1660 for a little bit more?

VRMs. they need to be good quality and *require* good cooling.

example of massively overkill vrm

example of cheap vrm

NOTE: here im showing you example of quality in numbers. quality of VRMs also depends on the actual modules. in general, just go with higher number vrm = better.

Actually the Asrock B450M Steel has really good VRMs for a M model, cpu true 4 phase cpu soc true 2 phase dram  true 1 phase.. which is as good as MSI Tomahawk B450.
