Switching between audio outputs

So i have a Xonar D2X i would like to keep using but the problem is i'm sick of reaching down behind my desk to swap audio cables to change the output. Im thinking of buying an amp with multiple outputs (preferably 3.5mm jacks), the input also needs to be something my D2X can already output. I am wanting to output to my ROG Vulcan Pro for gaming, Sony XBA-4s for audio and general listening, and i will be buying a set of Audioengine A5+W or P4W speakers (if i can understand how to use the P4Ws...).

My price range is AU$200 max and it needs to look 'clean' on a desk.

Basically i'm asking for a good amp with many outputs

Thankyou in advance for helping me! :)

Remember i'm an audio n00b

Check out the Nuforce Icon amp. Looks like it would work with the P4W's.

Thankyou for your input, but it doesn't have multiple outputs/ a switch to switch between my headphones/future speakers.

The fiio E09k is probably something you would be interested in for about $120. Only thing is you'll have to switch between your headphones and earphones or you can get a splitter and you'll have to unplug them to use the speakers. Basically what your doing now but it'll be on your desk...

Thanks mate, what are some good brands of desktop amps I should look for?

I asked for something with multiple outputs and that could drive the speakers I suggested the whole point of this piece of hardware is to be able to switch between 3.5mm outputs without unplugging anything. If this device even exists

why not just get a multiple selector switch and some converters for 3.5 to rca?  it's gotta be cheaper than an amp.

you can get them for bugger all most $2 shops have them as well.

lepai amp will work, if you are willing to reach behind and plug headphones into the "mp3 input".

the rca and 1/8" are wired in parallel so it will act as a splitter.

Will work for electronic components and parts

Mate, I've been looking for dacs and amps for the last few days and haven't come across anything that has more than one 3.5mm ouput and a switch for changing outputs especially in your price range. If you got something like that Fiio I suggested then all you have to do to switch between speakers and headphones/earphones is to unplug the headphones/earphones. Simple as using a switch. Use a splitter for the headphones/earphones and you're good as gold.

Look here for some.

What mr moose has suggested would be a good idea but that has 3 inputs and 1 output whereas you want it the other way around.

those switches are bi-directional, it can be 1 in and 3 out if you want. :)

Ok great, so now what would a good amp to power the P4Ws and also run a 3.5 mm output to a splitter for around $150-200

And also retaining the use of my available outputs from my sound card
