As an x60s owner I can say it's really no use for video editing.

It's usable only with Win7 or some Linux or BSD distro, a perfect use case for programming and learning but for web design?

No decent gpu acceleration at all in graphics programs, and they are barely capable on decoding 720p video even on Linux

Don't ask it to render videos with an higher resolution than 420p at all, and you could use only simple video editors (which on Linux suck a bit too, like kdenlive you wouldn't be able to make any decent work)
