Would it benefit me if i'd get 2x4gb on top of my other 2x4? Also, I really have never overclocked anything, so any information can be helpful! I have an antec kuhler h20 650 for my cpu, and my gpu is the gigabyte gtx 780 windforce 3x oc, i'm using a 4670k as cpu, and have a gigabyte ga-z87-d3hp mobo

I'm somewhat confused. Do you want to overclock you memory and have more moemory or do you just want more memory and then overclock other componants?

Overclocking memory is not worth the time for most people. If you want a certain speed, you are better off just buying that speed. However, overclocking can be a great way to  get to know computer and gain some knowledge abput how they work.

As fir the amount of RAM. It all depends on what you are doing. Unless you do video/photo editing or 3D rendering, 8GB is plenty.

For overclocking the CPU, here is a guide

Getting more ram would help if you could use more/needed more.

This should help:

OK then. For OCing the CPU I'd recommend following the guide that @WoodenMarker and I have posted.

For the GPU. first you need a overclocking program like MSi Afterburner. Then you need to raise the power limit and the thermal limit. From there on you can try adjusting the core clock.

You can probably push it quite a bit farther than the factory oc.
