The power supply in the case is going to be of meh quality, which a lot of people here will take issue with. You could probably save money by not getting a Samsung 970 Pro and getting an EVO or some other SATA based SSD. And you can find decent cases for $30. So taking the difference there you can get a better power supply.

I modified the parts list. I'm sure someone who wants to pitch in on a PSU if they can recommend something better will do so:

I would've voted for $200 1070 or 980 Ti, or if you want more 2060 level perf, a 1070 Ti for ~$300 (Less if you dont buy on ebay) Other than that, and the over built memory, it's a good build. Sacrifice 600mhz on the memory and grab a 10xx card and you can hit up an R7 2700 pretty easily.

I wouldn't use a Ryzen 5 2600, as the new Ryzen 3000 chips should be out in June.

I'd also switch out the RTX 2960 with a cheaper board partner GTX 1660.

The 1660 Ti performs a bit worse than a 2060, although it costs less, it's the same amount as a 1070/1070 Ti (depending on where you get it) while it performs worse.

I'm going to assume OP doesn't want used unless they specifically said they don't care.

True, but imo there is no reason not to just get some components used.

Theres no performance specs or bunch marks out yet. It is hard to say if the new chips will be worth it based on performance per price. The lowest price ive seen a ryzen 2600 is about $164 at my local microcenter store and amazon. which seems worth it if all your gonna do is upgrade a year from now
