Yes you will be bottlenecked by your CPU.

You will indeed be bottlenecked by your CPU, but that could as well happen with a i9 9900k at 5ghz.

Just get the 1660ti or RTX2060 its a nice value :)

Depends on the game and res and if you’re the type of person to cap frames to fix issues.

In what circumstance would that be true? In general, an old quad core from 2013 is gonna hamper a new mid range graphics card a lot. The fastest gaming CPU ever? Not so much. I don't recommend such an imbalance of CPU and GPU horsepower, I'm not sure why you do.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

such a stupid word that people just throw around without understanding it.

look, either of those cards will work fine for you and you'll probably be happy with the performance.

could you eek a few more frames out with a better CPU? probably? will you care? unlikely.

He may care if games stutter. Sometimes having the cpu pegged isn’t preferred.

Yeah it'll bottleneck super hard. I wouldn't pair anything faster than an RX 580 with that CPU. Even RX 580 may be bottlenecked in some more CPU bound games.

Main System: EVGA GTX 1080 SC, i7 8700, 16GB DDR4 Corsair LPX 3000mhz CL15, Asus Z370 Prime A, Noctua NH D15, EVGA GQ 650W, Fractal Design Define R5, 2TB Seagate Barracuda, 500gb Samsung 850 Evo
Secondary System: EVGA GTX 780ti SC, i5 3570k @ 4.5ghz, 16gb DDR3 1600mhz, MSI Z77 G43, Noctua NH D15, EVGA GQ 650W, Fractal Design Define R4, 3TB WD Caviar Blue, 250gb Samsung 850 Evo
