Strange purplish marks on tv

Tv: Samsung ua49ks7300j led 4k hdr(tv in hong Kong so not sure of model number in other regions)

Over the last year I notice these strange marks are coming down from the top edge of my screen(definitely were not there in beginning). It's only 1/2 a cm long but they are getting more noticeable. There is about 6 of them across the top in random spots. If it works I included a pic of 3.

What is causing them and is it going to get much worse? Searched the net but no luck prob cause I don't know what to call it. I tried asking in other places and one response was led light leaks.  But all light leaks I see are white clouds on dark screen (like testing on a no active input screen)  I can see a faint white cloud in the lower left corner.  However these marks are on the top edge and are not visible on dark images (see nothing in a letterbox)

 

I'm out of warranty so thinking it's an expensive fix. Maybe it's new tv time.

Any help on what it could be is appreciated.  But I just really want to know what it is, what is causing it  and will it get worse.  Thanks.

Edge light bleeding. Nothing you can do. Bad panel. Edge lit problems.

Dang.  Been a good 2 years but still stinks.  Still seems odd that it doesn't match any other edge light issues I see all over the net.  All I see is white clouds on dark scenes.  But here it's invisible in dark scenes.  Just frustrating.

It's probably just a bad panel honestly. 2 years is not a long time, but might have just been bad panel lottery.
