I'm trying to create a very simple moving image background for a podcast I've already recorded. I'm using Filmora 9 (though if people think I should be using a better program, I'm all ears). Here's what I want:

In the foreground I want my company logo, title of the podcast and website address (in white). Then behind that, I just want to have a gradient blue color shift (left to right, down to up, whatever). And then I'll just loop that as the visual while the audio plays. I know from an editing perspective, this is child's play but I'm extremely bad at artistic endeavors and just want to get this part done so I can start a YouTube channel, integrate Instagram, and then go back to making new podcast episodes :)

Any help from video editing wizards is extremely appreciated, even if just to get me on the right track. I think I can handle the audio and clipping stuff (like snipping out previews for Instagram), but the artistic creation of the moving image is currently beyond me.

I'm not terribly familiar with Filmora and won't attempt to give a quality tutorial here, but if YouTube has several tutorials for "moving gradient", "gradient background", and "gradient shift" creation in Adobe AfterEffects.

Even if you want to use Filmora and not AE, give those tutorials a watch. You'll get an idea for the process and type of tools/tricks involved in creating the effect you want.

Also is there a different section this should have gone in?

There's not really a video editing section at the moment so this is fine :) Thanks for stopping by

If you want a free option that is powerful, Davinci Resolve is an option.

I haven't done what you want to do before, so don't know how, but it is possible in it.
