How much are you paying for this system? It's got some flaws. Namely:

  • The 3GB GTX 1060 is kind of a joke and always has been. The RX 580 8GB or GTX 1060 6GB are much better values.
  • Why only a 128GB SSD? The price of 240GB SSDs has come down to or below the $40 mark, putting them right in the price/performance sweet spot.
  • Which power supply is it? There are some 500W units out there that can push 500W, and there are some that can barely push 300W without failing.

So Im assuming its pre built as he doesn't say.  Yes the 3GB card wont cut the rug and your 8700 will be very pissed off.  Grab a 1060 6GB instead.  Also I agree with aisle9 grab a higher capacity SSD as they are soo affordable now like aisle mentioned.  Other then that your good to go.  If you bought it instead of buying parts then the PSU it comes with might be a issue as perhaps the 12v railing might not even handle it.  We don't know so tell us your PSU if you can.  I hope its not some generic piece of crapola… sighs

If u are changing to 1080 its a good thing. 1060 3gb is a sort of bad option. Try changing to an SSD of 240 GB as the price difference is small and it gives more storage option for your programs.

I payed 1260 Euro for it. yes Euro I am from France.

You can still change it, even after paying?

$1260 Euro is a lot for the original config. What's the price with 1080 8GB?

Frist of all congrats on ordering your first gaming PC. For this HP Omen you've ordered was this a made to order model or can you customized some of the components, say Video card and SSD.

As other have mentioned a GTX 1060 6GB or RX 580 would be been the better choice. Same goes with the SSD, 240GB is the minimum recommended these days. If you can still change your configuration, then change it as soon as possible, before it's shipped out.

Intel Xeon E5 1650 v3 @ 3.5GHz 6C:12T / CM212 Evo / Asus X99 Deluxe / 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 3000 Trident-Z / Samsung 850 Pro 256GB / Intel 335 240GB / WD Red 2 & 3TB / Antec 850w / RTX 2070 / Win10 Pro x64

HP Envy X360 15: Intel Core i5 8250U @ 1.6GHz 4C:8T / 8GB DDR4 / Intel UHD620 + Nvidia GeForce MX150 4GB / Intel 120GB SSD / Win10 Pro x64

HP Envy x360 BP series Intel 8th gen

AMD ThreadRipper 2!

5820K & 6800K 3-way SLI mobo support list

My main questtion remains, should I be warried abut this computer not performing well in games. I usualy play games on midum to high, and have a 144h monitor 25 ichies. I want to play preaty standard games. (CsGo, LoL, Apex Legends, Hitman, etc).

Yes, you should be worried. A 3GB buffer is no longer enough for high refresh rate gaming. Your processor is fine, your SSD and hard drive are way too small for what you're paying, and until I see something on the PSU, I'm assuming it's an arson box.
