It is extremely odd for a motherboard to not have fan connectors. You're referring to these connectors correct?

Yes

I still find that odd, regardless, fan splitters do exist.

Up to 2 fans: https://www.amazon.com/JBtek-Black-Sleeved-Splitter-Converter/dp/B01EF9OI0O/
Up to 5 fans: https://www.amazon.com/CRJ-Blackout-All-Black-Splitter/dp/B0763FGH6S/

Up to 8 fans: https://www.amazon.com/SilverStone-System-Cables-Black-CPF04/dp/B07N3HP8S5/

You can also look into a fan controller but those get expensive and messy quick due to a lot of additional wires

What motherboard / PC is this? You probably should invest into hardware controller which uses USB connector, if you aren't planning on changing motherboard in next 1-2 years.
