Ah yes I did see you say that. This is a very odd situation that the 1030 works on the old system but not the new one, but the other gpus work fine on the new one. I’m at a loss of words. Try to see if it’s being seated properly? Maybe give it a little more force when putting it to 100% make sure it’s good in there. Not too much though :/

What game you’re playing?... now unrelated to my question, I’m tempted to say it’s a short but you’re telling it’s when you play games. How long have you had this gpu for? I’ve had a similar issue with my beloved gtx 460 or it kept turning off when playing games, I’ve had games crash from vram shortage, I’ve had the pc shut off from heat, but at some point it got to the point that it would shut off 0.00001 seconds after pressing the power button. If it’s old and been used a lot, you might have to look at using the oven method which resurrected my 460 for my experience. We first need to ind the issue then the solution. I’ll be here to help you through.

my brother plays cs go on it and apparently it works fine there but when he play apex legends even on lowest settings it crashes after 1 or 2mins, gta v kinda works fine it crashes after 30mins, rainbow six siege crashes after 15mins,dead rising 3 works fine with no crashes, just cause 4 on the lowest setting. i dont think its a Vram shortage because he have rivatuner on and see that it dosnt use up too much Vram because he plays on the lowest setting.

Ah yes, I think this could be giving the GPU too much load, my gtx 280 did and still does the same. CS:GO and Garry’s mod both work fine, but GTA 5 would shut my pc off 10 minutes into gameplay, same with beaming.drive and other games that still support directx 10.

but apex legends should works on 2gb vram on lowest settings

Yes it should work theoretically, but you are leaving out the rest of the specs of the gpu, cud’s cores, core clock, ETC. The 1030 it meant to squeeze some life out of older systems and keep them going. Not really made for gaming and apex legends does need quite a bit to run.

Yes I know, also considering that apex wants a gt 630 minimum to run. Try small games then slowly up to big games, (less demanding to more demanding) I really think that’s your issue.
