New FX-6300 Core Speed won't show up in Task Manager

Hello,

I overclocked my FX-6300 using the overclock feature of my ASRock 970A to about 4 Ghz.

But when I open my Task Manager, it still shows me the base clock of 3,5 Ghz.

In CPU Z however, it shows me the real clock of 4 Ghz.

Is that a bug of the Task Manager?

And is my CPU now actually running on 4 Ghz?

i would honestly just get a new cpu man, fx stinks and wont get you any where and ryzen is very affordable

Yes I know but mid of 2019 (when i finished school) i buy a new pc

to actually answer the question unlike @Earnist_ :P yes. its task manager being task manager, so it is a bug. CPUz is more accurate.

ryzen is a far better buy, im just saying fx is useless
