It depends too much on deals, form factor (smaller stuff costs more), utilisation (e.g. games (gpu) vs rendering (cpu)), etc.

You cannot break it down to percentages imo.

I would never approach a build with percentages assigned and then trying to find parts at a price that fits into that percentage.

Also, if you're buying a $150 CPU and $300 GPU you don't need a $100 PSU.  And a $50 SSD build is probably gonna also need a HDD for everything else.  Surprisingly, you can now find $50 RAM.

I just asked how would "you" spend your budget. But since you asked some specific questions, it's a normal (atx) form factor, and it will be used mainly for light  gaming, like LoL CSGO Fortnite etc. (and probably streaming).

The percentages are just for an example, I'm trying to give the best example on this particular subject.

I gotcha.  It's my opinion that using percentages as a starting reference would not be good for the example.  If you want to spec out a build within a certain budget and then figure the percentages after doing so then that might be a fun exercise.

Yeah it's kinda my mistake tho, this percentage is based on a build, it looks like this:

R5 2600 $200

ASRock B450 Pro 4 $100

2x4GB 3200MHz DDR4 $50

RX 580 8GB $250

Samsung 860 Evo 250GB $50

Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550 $100

Acer KG251QF $250

I started a business in PC world (selling pc parts, whole pc, building pcs, etc.). This build will be a build for my first customer btw, so I need some suggestions :D
