I cannot get my ram to 3000MHz

Go to solution Solved by JoeNoIce,

ryzen doesnt like 3000 i found that out when trying to do the same so try to set the ram speed to 2933

I had 8GB of DDR4-3000MHz Ram and I decided to buy two more of the identical sticks. Yesterday I was running at 3000MHz. I recieved the additional sticks today and I installed the other two sticks I can no longer run at 3000MHz. I tried putting the original two sticks back in and I can no longer get those to 3000Mhz.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 3.4Ghz

MOBO: Gigabyte B450 DS3H
RAM: T-Force Vulcan 16GB (4x4GB) 3000MHz

I would try this too.  Just add a little more voltage when you do.  You might be pleasantly surprised.
