Get a better SSD like an MX500 or 860 Evo, consider a cheaper 2070 and maybe take a look at air cooling

I would suggest you look at Vega 64 vs 2070 benchmarks for the games you play. The Vega 64 blows past the 2070 in some games and is a little bit behind it in others.

Just to provide some context:

I will be gaming and editing video with this PC, possibly also streaming. I want to play AAA titles and competitive online games at 1440p. I also want to be able to overclock my CPU to its fullest.

Different fans, Ll120s are expensive, and require a lightning node pro(50$) or a commander pro(70$?) to work.dont get the h500i, get something like a meshify, or a non-i h500. You dont need so much ram, and also get a better mobo for oc, a better ssd, a non-blower gpu, etc.

a parts list is coming up.

oops, thought it was a blower, ignore my last part about non-blower.

also, if you are going to overclock, might aswell get a 2700, same 4.2ghz cap,  but 50$ less.

better cpu cooler, better mobo, better case, better psu, a whopping 2TB nvme ssd, but only has 16gb of ram (all you need). Seems like a good tradeoff.

Assuming you have a $2000 budget.

The monitor is a Freesync but it is one of the certified G-Sync compatible ones.

An RTX 2070 would still be fine for 1440p.
