Hello, I need some help with my newly installed SSD. The problem I'm having is that the SSD is used 100% according to task manager when I either play a game which is a bit demanding or it's under a workload.

most of the time the problem is caused by System, i checked file location and it brings up an app in system32 called ntoskrnl. I could use the help

Some specs:

Cpu Intel i5-4440

GPU GeForce gtx 750

RAM 8gb

SSD Kingston A400 480gb

the pc is a bit outdated and I'm planning a new build.

Is it actually causing an issue? If not, it could just be a faulty reading.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

I mean it's like the only thing i can see that's making the problem. Maybe there are some compatibility issues with the os and other apps, but that seems really unlikely.

it seriously just goes to 100% usage at random.

It's basically just completely freezing the whole system for a few seconds or sometimes fully just freezes to the point I have to restart the pc. And it's all because the SSD gets clogged by the System (telling by task manager).
