How can I add a folder to My Computer?

Hey guys, i have a question. How can I add a folder to the original seven? Or is it not possible?

Just create some folders in the Desktop and then use them for a little while and then windows will understand that this is a folder that you regularly use.

I forgot how, but i can do this:

basically you make a windows shared folder then map it. if you have a weak password dont do this on public networks. it also you may have to make your pc discoverable.
